Red River County Public Library is excited to announce that we have been awarded a Digitization Grant from the Tocker Foundation. All 172 reels of microfilm are on their way to The University of North Texas to be digitized. When the project is complete, the public will be able to access and search all of our microfilm on The Portal to Texas History website. This project will take roughly one year to complete. After the completion of this project, UNT will digitize any newspapers or microfilm published in Red River County and those would also be accessible through The Portal to Texas History.
